Information for our patients
While Level 1 Government restrictions are still in place for the dental industry, we are absolutely in the position to take care of your dental needs. We have put in place some extra precautions to keep both you and the BHDS family safe during these interesting times.
With these extra precautions in place, we in the Dental Industry (in Queensland anyhow), are carrying on as best we can to keep our patient’s dental needs taken care of.
Due to the extremely robust infection control protocols we already had in place at Banksia House Dental Surgery, we have been in the enviable position of having to make very few operational changes in order to keep up with Covid-19 recommendations.
You will notice the notices! Much signage has been added to our front façade for your reading pleasure!
All we ask of you (as well as any family members or support people) is that you use the hand sanitizer provided at reception upon arrival. We are also required to take and record your temperature (no-touch).
Please do not come in if you are unwell, have been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19, are awaiting Covid-19 test results, or have travelled to a restricted area in the past 14 days.
These extra precautions are in line with Best Practice as advised by the Federal Health Department, the Australian Dental Association, and the CDC.
Rest assured we are here to help you keep your dental health in tip top condition.
In the meanwhile, if you have any concerns, just need some reassurance, or if your inner hermit just needs to have a chat, feel free to give us a call.
